Running jEdit 4.4.2 on Ubuntu 10.04.
Draging & dropping a file on jEdit when the ConfigurableFoldHandler is active will
cause jEdit to freeze with an I/O in progress message at the bottom of the window.
The only way to shut jEdit down when this happens is to kill it from a terminal.
I tested by disabling all plugins and then activating them one at a time and dropping
files on jEdit. When I activated the ConfigFoldHandler jEdit froze. I killed jEdit
and restarted it. I deactivated ConfigFoldHandler and dropped a file on jEdit and
it did not freeze. I continued to activate my remaining plugins with no ill effects.
I then deactivated all plugins and shut down jEdit. I restarted jEdit and only activated
the ConfigFoldHandler and dropped a file on jEdit and it froze. I restarted jEdit
deactivated the ConfigFoldHandler and dropped a file on jEdit and it did not freeze.
I have attached a file that contains the Activity log and a Jstack trace.
Regards, Jim
